Beverley earned an MFA in Writing for Children & Young Adults from the Vermont College of Fine Arts as well as a BA in English with an option in literature from the California State University, Long Beach. Ian boasts a Bachelor’s Degree in English with a Creative Writing concentration, three years fresh since graduation. He has worked as a judge with Ink and Insights since June 2020, honing his analytical and editorial eye through the various submissions he has received. 2021 has been a year of maintaining his college literary training, not just through continuing Ink and Insights but also pursuing his own novel projects on the side.
