Ink & Insights 2022

-The Apprentice category is for new novelists who are learning the craft and want to know how they are doing and how to improve. ALSO, early drafts of you novel should be entered in this category.

-The Master category is for seasoned writers who have published or are ready to publish, or who have written several novels and have a firm understanding of all the nuances of novel writing. This category is for novels that have finished their edits and rewrites and are ready to face the world.

-The Nonfiction category is for all of those memoirs, biographies, and any other manuscripts that are not fiction.

The Nonfiction category fizzled out in 2017 so this category will not be part of the contest. HOWEVER, NF writers may still submit their manuscripts for the feedback.

Because that's the important part anyway, right?

  EVERY ENTRY will receive a numerical score plus personal feedback from four different judges.

The top-ten finalists will be listed on the Winners Page with one link of the author's choice.

*The top three novels will have a spot on the Ink & Insights 2022 Winners Page with an excerpt and up to three links (FB page, blog, author page, sales page, or website) until the 2023 winners take over. At that time, winners will be listed on the Previous Winners page with one link.

**The agents who have agreed to participate in Ink & Insights 2022 will read the top three submissions in the Master category. They will choose the final ranking, as well as give valuable feedback to the writers. 
They also have the option of continuing contact with the writer.
